Aaron Naparstek
Aaron Naparstek is a journalist, producer and the founder of Streetsblog.org, an online publication covering urban planning and transportation policy.
Since its launch in 2006, Streetsblog has been instrumental in building and inspiring a Livable Streets movement that is bringing a more human-centered, less automobile-oriented design approach to cities across North America and around the world. Aaron is the founder of Proving Ground Media and is a co-creator, co-host and producer of The War on Cars podcast. He was a 2012 Loeb Fellow at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and is the author ofHonku: The Zen Antidote for Road Rage, a book of poetry inspired by the unique brand of motorist sociopathy observed from his apartment window. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
