The LOEB Fellowship

Alumni Resources

A lifelong connection to an unparalleled worldwide network of over 450 professional colleagues.

The Loeb Fellowship Alumni Council meets annually to plan activities that extend connections and mutual learning. After the Fellowship year, fellows also become alumni of the Graduate School of Design and are invited to participate in the GSD alumni community and events.

There are other continuing benefits to being a Loeb.

Alumni Council Grants

Alumni Council Grants support fellow-to-fellow initiatives that benefit local communities. The deadline for proposals is announced every fall.

Annual Loeb Fall Study Tour

The Annual Loeb Fellowship Fall Study Tour brings fellows together to explore a great community, guided by the local Loebs. In spring 2022, we made a shift to online, taking the opportunity to go global and undertake an ambitious itinerary of 4 cities: London, Amsterdam, Rio de Janiero, and Mexico City. Each tour is followed by a discussion with the hosts and local residents and officials, moderated by Virginia Prescott ’02. Take the tours and follow the discussions.

Annual Memorial Luncheons

The Annual Memorial Luncheons gather Loebs of a particular city on the first Friday of December. The events commemorate the annual luncheons held by John and Frances Loeb in their home. Organized by groups of Loebs in many cities around the globe, these events are a chance to network, catch up on recent work, and forge new friendships.

Loeb Fellows will find information, updates, and opportunities on the dedicated Loeb Alumni website. Contact [email protected] for the password.
