Anti‐racism protests in the U.S. and in other parts of the world have been accompanied by the fall of countless statues celebrating and memorializing perpetrators of injustice. Still, others see this as attacks on their heritage and culture. How do we address the physical manifestations of systemic racism, abusive power, historic colonialism, and continued oppression in the built environment and in public spaces?
