Ann Beha’s projects have expanded the dialogue between tradition and innovation. Marked by strong historical, cultural, and educational content, her work advocates for innovative contemporary design within historic settings and for the sustainable renewal of existing buildings. Her clients have included the University of Chicago, Princeton University, MIT, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the US Department of State, and the Smithsonian Institution as well as numerous community and cultural organizations.

Beha is a graduate of Wellesley College and received a Master of Architecture degree from MIT. Currently Visiting Professor of Architecture at Yale University, she is past Distinguished Visiting Professor of Architecture at the City College of New York, she has been a trustee and past president of Historic New England, served on visiting committees at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and is a member of Harvard University’s Design Advisory Panel. Beha has been honored with the inaugural Award of Honor from the US Department of State, Overseas Building Operations, the Alumnae Achievement Award from Wellesley College, and the Award of Honor and Women in Design Award of Excellence from the Boston Society of Architects.
