Gail Vittori, LEED Fellow, codirector of Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, works at the intersection of sustainable design, green building, and human health. She is 2019 board chair of Green Business Certification Inc. and served on the US Green Building Council Board of Directors from 2002-2010, including as 2009 board chair. Her work spans the private and public sectors nationally and internationally, and includes Dell Children’s Medical Center—the world’s first LEED Platinum hospital. Ms. Vittori is co-author of Sustainable Healthcare Architecture and vice chair of Health Product Declaration Collaborative Board. She was recognized in July-August 2015 Design Intelligence as one of five top role models in sustainable or high performance design, and received the 2015 Hanley Award for Vision and Leadership in Sustainability-the first woman recipient. In 2017 she was recognized by Grupo Midia as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare in the Sustainability Category.
