Jeanne Giordano is an expert in retail planning and design, whose client list includes not for profits, universities, and public and private entities.

She has been a key participant in a series of significant urban revitalization projects helping transform under-utilized areas and buildings, programming and planning public spaces and devising creative and effective retail strategies. Since 1996, her studio has been commissioned by a variety of high-profile institutions and non-profit and governmental entities, including Harvard, Brown, and Columbia Universities, Barnard College, University of Chicago, Battery Park City Authority, NYC Economic Development Corporation, Times Square BID, Signature Theatre, Universal Music Group, New York Marriott Marquis, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Wave Hill, FDR Presidential Library and Museum. She was an advisor to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation on the rebuilding of Jones Beach Boardwalk after Super Storm Sandy. Current clients include the Noguchi Foundation and the Bronx Museum of Art.

Prior to forming her own company, Ms. Giordano directed the Grand Central Terminal Development Office for the NYC MTA, where she conceived and developed a retail program that was critical to the renaissance of the long-neglected landmark. She began her career with the City of Philadelphia under the mentorship of City Planner Ed Bacon. She served as Director of Urban Renewal for the City of Salem, Oregon. She managed mixed-used urban projects for Rouse Associates in Philadelphia.

Ms. Giordano is a Fellow in Design ‘87 of the American Academy in Rome and a board member of the Kronos Quartet. Jeanne splits her time between Manhattan and Portland, OR where she is on the Board of Trustees of the Portland Japanese Garden. WX, New York Women Executives in Real Estate, named her Woman of the Year in 2009.
