Margaret McCurry
<Margaret McCurry, FAIA, FIIDA, is a principal of Tigerman McCurry Architects, whose archives reside at the Art Institute of Chicago. McCurry’s work is documented in monographs entitled “Margaret McCurry: Constructing Twenty-Five Short Stories” and “Distillations: The Architecture of Margaret McCurry.” A recipient of Honor Awards from the AIA, ASID and IIDA, she has been published widely in architectural and interior magazines and exhibited internationally. McCurry has served as vice president of the AIA Chicago Chapter and chair of the National AIA Committee on Design. She is a member of the Architecture and Design Society board, the Art Institute of Chicago Textile Department board, and the University of Chicago Women’s Board, as well as the Dean’s Council of the Yale School of Architecture. She has been president of the Alumni Council of the GSD, a director of the Harvard Alumni Association, and president of the Harvard Club of Chicago.
