Badruun Gardi is co-founder and chairman of GerHub, a nonprofit social innovation firm that develops creative solutions to the most pressing issues facing the ger (traditional nomadic dwelling) districts of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

GerHub collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders to research and develop innovative interventions and to nurture a new generation of creative problem solvers. A key focus for GerHub is its work on adapting the ger dwelling to be more suitable in an urban context.

Badruun is also creative executive at Salmira Productions, a media finance and production company for stories infused with thematic depth that spur important conversations about social issues and other challenges we face as a global community. Badruun serves on the boards of the Asia Foundation, Arts Council of Mongolia, Mongolia Education Initiative, and Smart Air Mongolia. He is a 2022 World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and an alumnus of the Asia Foundation Development Fellows program. Badruun holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication from Stanford University.
