As Project LEARN’s executive director, LZ Nunn builds cross-sector partnerships and develops resources so that Lowell’s next generation will have 21st century skills to succeed and thrive. In this role, she designs programs that support cradle to career learning for public school students in Massachusetts’ 4th largest community. Before coming to Project LEARN, LZ was the development director for the Greater Lowell Community Foundation. From 2005-2012, LZ held the position of executive director of the Cultural Organization of Lowell, Cultural Affairs & Special Events Office. She coordinated placemaking initiatives and citywide cultural events and festivals, developed strategic partnerships, and led fundraising and marketing initiatives. LZ holds a BA from the University of Washington and a MFA from Emerson College.
