Marci Clark
Marci Clark is a real estate developer, architectural historian, and educator dedicated to unlocking value in underutilized, depreciating buildings through adaptive reuse.
Over the last decade, she has led the repositioning of high-profile historic telecommunications hubs, banks, and commercial buildings in New York City into vibrant spaces for housing and commerce. Her work demonstrates that adaptive reuse is not only financially sound, but essential to a more sustainable and resilient urban future.
In her role as Managing Director of Strategy and Development, Marci has contributed to more than 10 million square feet of development, including over 2,400 residential units and hundreds of affordable apartments. Her practice operates at the intersection of design, policy, and finance, and spans adaptive reuse, purpose-built development, and public-private partnerships, advancing integrated strategies to address urban renewal and housing challenges at scale.
Marci believes adaptive reuse represents one of the most immediate and impactful strategies to address the housing crisis while reducing the environmental costs of new construction.
