The LOEB Fellowship

After three-plus decades managing BIDs, development authorities, and a mayor’s office, Rick left that dark side for the bright side and went to work for the United Methodist Church. That move plunged him into the world of emptying faith properties and possibilities for reuse and redevelopment. He views the issue less from street level and more from the mountaintop: what in God’s name to do with 100,000 or so emptying faith properties? Why are religious officials–who tell us we can change the world–leading change in their connumities? What can government leaders do?
